Author Michael Claude Caesar Sampson was born in British Guiana in 1952 to a police officer father and a homemaker mother, the last of nine siblings who struggled through school because of acute dyslexia combined with the social pathologies and the issues therein, coming to Canada a the end of 1977 and experiencing continuous social, political and economical hardships that are associated with relegation; however, he managed to thrive intellectually, spiritually and philosophically in a way that was divinely miraculous where he has managed to achieve a superlative level of autodidacticism and polymathism. He had been a police officer, a licensed mechanic, has done paralegal work, drove a tractor trailer and a taxi, has been a foster parent and was the sole proprietor of a pub and other business ventures among other experiences that contributed to the development of his profound wisdom. He is philosophically non-religious, but profoundly and deeply spiritual.
